Massive congrats on another publication cred . . . you deserve it, darlin’!
Took the initiative to submit this to The Almighty SU, with the following review :
Veronica O’Neil is among the world’s few individuals who possess not only the ability to ratchet knitting’s hip quotient so high, it’s conducive of eardrums popping, nosebleeds and a generally vertiginous state of being — but she also accomplishes a much greater feat for those of us on the opposite end of the spectrum. Yeah, you know the type: the “domestically-challenged,” the “my-intentions-were-good” but “sheet-I-can’t-even-sew-on-a-button-correctly.” Namely, folks from the “oh-F-it-already; I’m-hopeless” ilk.
Granted, it’s not that Ms. O’Neil presents her designs in a manner that looks ‘easy,’ per se — I mean, let’s face it: they’re far too sophisticated creations for any paint-by-numbers neophyte bullshittery. The magic she somehow pulls off, nonetheless? While I know I should be intimidated, her choice of aesthetics coupled with a personable means of presentation manage to make it seem. . . well, like I’d have fun trying. Which, be it this or any other crafty endeavor, really is the point; isn’t it?
Post Script: It’s after 2 AM and my mental faculties are about as sharp as a plastic spoon. All/same, I hope you dig it — and that I’ll actually see you one of these days!
B E S O S , B A B E S !
